IMPACT PARTNERS

ENTOURAGE

Since 2014, the Entourage association has been combating homelessness and social exclusion by reinstating support networks for those who have lost them. Today, nearly 7 million people in France live in isolation. For the 2 million in precarious situations and the 330,000 homeless individuals, the chances of improving their situations are almost non-existent.What's worse, these numbers continue to rise. The solution lies in rebuilding social connections.

Entourage's mission is to reverse this situation by fostering transformative encounters and providing lasting support to those who need it most. The idea isn't to do things 'for' but rather 'with,' acting together at the root of the problem. How? By engaging citizens, both included and excluded,(leveraging technology) through our three programs. With the aid of our StreetCommittee, comprised of individuals who have experienced significant need, we've designed these three programs to rebuild support networks for those who have no one else to rely on.

TEAM FOR THE PLANET

Championing entrepreneurship in the services of climate emergency, Team For the Planet was founded in 2019 as a non-profit enterprise fighting against climate change. We advocate for an emergency plan to shift into a 'war economy.' A war against climate change, the common adversary to all of humanity. But a war fought with spirit and heart. Spirit, by seeking an effective mode of action devoid of violence, pressure, or guilt. Based on science, entrepreneurship, and audacity. Heart, by betting on citizens' willingness to use their intellectual, financial, and mental resources for a cause rather than pursuing individual interests. We are millions, and we have the power to act!

Convinced by collective intelligence and human ingenuity, we know that all around the world, there are scientists and inventors developing solutions capable of slowing down climate change and addressing the root causes of CO2 emissions. That's why we're pooling our strengths to identify high-impact innovations globally. We're recruiting seasoned entrepreneurs to transform the best innovations with strong economic models. Businesses conceived and tailored from A to Z to combat greenhouse gases. Through the power of a network of over 114,000 shareholders, since 2019, we've raised €24,5 million in funds and have already financed eight major innovations. Today, we are +110,000 strong, and tomorrow, with you, we can be millions! Any individual or entity can join the adventure starting from €1 in two minutes and concretely act on a global scale against climate disruption. Advens, Leyton, and TR Racing are currently offering the opportunity to join, free of charge, the collective 'We Sail for People and Planet.' Sam Goodchild, Skipper of the Imoca FOR THE PLANET, will carry our colours throughout all of his races. This is a fantastic opportunity! Through this outstanding sports and human project, and thanks to the recognition of We Sail for People and Planet, we aim to reach even more people. To share our story, our fight, strengthen our community, and hopefully achieve our two objectives: to identify and deploy 100 global innovations against greenhouse gases and reach 250,000 shareholders!

THOMAS RUYANT, SKIPPER “FOR PEOPLE”

I am proud of the work accomplished in recent years and particularly happy, in the continuation of LinkedOut, to carry strong societal values on my new sailboat. It's now up to me to give my best to raise visibility for the cause and mobilize as many people as possible!

In 2000, Thomas Ruyant discovered solo competitive sailing. By 2007, he took part in the Mini Transat, his first major solo experience that convinced him to continue. In 2016, he made his debut in the Imoca class and participated in his first Vendée Globe. A few years later, he founded his own team, TR Racing. In 2021, with the support of Advens, Thomas Ruyant finished 6th in the 2020-2021 Vendée Globe and 1st in the Imoca category of the Transat Jacques Vabre aboard the sailboat LinkedOut. The following year, he won the Route du Rhum on the same Imoca, completing the journey in 11 days, 17 hours, 36 minutes, and 25 seconds. A new record for the crossing!

SAM GOODCHILD, SKIPPER “FOR THE PLANET”

To carry out a project named FOR PEOPLE AND PLANET is somewhat the lifelong dream of a sailor, encapsulating wonderfully the aspirations of anyone aware of the challenges and the risks to overcome for the future of humanity and our environment. It's a significant extra dimension for a competitor.

Sam Goodchild grew up on a boat in the Caribbean with his family until he was 7 years old. In 2005, at the age of 16, he met Alex Thomson. In 2007, he accompanied Thomson on a crossing of the Atlantic from Portsmouth to Halifax, Canada—a significant and decisive experience for him. In 2010, he joined the Artemis Offshore Academy, established to launch young English sailors, and completed his first Figaro season.

As an avid sailor, Sam has tried his hand at various classes, from Class40, Ultime, Imoca, Figaro, to the Ocean Fifty. It's in the latter that he achieved some of his most notable victories, carving his place in offshore racing, particularly aboard Leyton, where he won the Pro Sailing Tour 2021. This year, he announced his move to TR Racing's headquarters and took the helm of For the Planet, formerly known as LinkedOut, for the Vendée Globe 2024-2025!
